Please post back any problems with the packages so I can fix them for the next person
These are designed by me , they are not stolen from somewhere and given away like many of the oscommerce templates you see floating around
I recently tired to submit a wordpress theme to the the wordpress site and was told I could not credit this blog because of its adult content …
So I changed the credit to a link to the main site and was told it looked like “spam”
ah the joys of working with the open source community …..
Well google has indexed a second version of this site, instead of just indexing the subdomain, it indexed the sub directory on the main url, even though it specifically says in the robots for googlebot not to index it.
This appears to have cost me pretty much all of my rankings, which is really great there is nothing like being punished for nothing by some giant corporation, I switched the robots.txt to disallow ALL spiders to the sub directory (why google would be using a spider not labeled googlebot is beyond me), and will have to wait and see if that helps. I guess the next action would be to block everything to the sub directory via htaccess.
What a pain in the ass.
I try to make more niche themes, in the big scheme of things I am only an average designer, so I try to make the themes that will have a great appeal to a few, rather then try to appeal to everyone. Like as far as I can find, there were no hunting or fishing word press themes until I made them.
If you have any suggestions of a niche I should design a theme for please let me know
